Language House badge

This badge is available to students of the Language House. Upon completion of the requirements for this badge, students will have demonstrated:

  1. Knowledge of target language and culture: students demonstrate advanced linguistic and cultural competence.
  2. Effective oral communication skills: students demonstrate active listening and precision in oral expression.
  3. Intercultural analysis: students can describe a diversity of perspectives with nuance and think critically beyond their cultural comfort zones
To earn this badge students must complete the residency and coursework requirements of the Language House and submit a video project in their target language describing the key elements of their immersion experience.
